How it works

Notify is a Microsoft. NET® developed application which works in concert with the Microsoft SQL Job Scheduling tool to provide a seamless interface for companies to schedule the automated delivery of Crystal Reports®. Notify was specifically engineered to deliver PD Partner based content so many of the business rules have already been established. Once scheduled, Notify offers a “set it and forget it” approach to information delivery.

Notify Architecture 
Notify was designed to act as intelligent middleware that resides between Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL Server. Notify has a server component installation that handles communication between the Notify Jobs and the database server. A client side application can be loaded on any workstation connected to the network for the administration of the Notify system. Notify was designed to fully leverage all of the scheduling, error tracking and Notification features built into Microsoft SQL Server. The easy to understand user interface requires virtually no training to begin using the system.
